2 x King Single Sealy PosturePractic Beds

+++SOLD+++

Matched pair of king single ensemble beds. (One shown)

These beds have not been used much, mainly as guest beds, so the springs are still firm and very comfortable to lay on. The mattresses are in pretty good condition but the matching bases have been knocked around a bit in moves, and have a couple of battle scars, but once made up you won't see this of course. One base is better than the other.

Cost over $1000 around 10 years ago, but due to minimal use they are still very serviceable and a good buy. Put the two together and make a king sized double bed.

Retro Dining Chairs

Set of 4 Dining Chairs

Nice old retro dining chairs, early 70's. They are only in moderate condition, but may clean up pretty well. The seats and backs are in generally good condition, but the wood frames are a little battered.

Singer Industrial Sewing Maching

+++SOLD+++

This is a reliable older style industrial singer sewing machine, the sort that will just run forever. It has a big table base, electric motor and attached light. It was previously used in a TAFE fashion design course, and would be suitable for anyone doing larger volume or heavy duty work. Note, its heavy!! Its in working order, but has not been used for a while, so a service would be worthwhile.

European Style Leather and Jarrah Lounge

+++SOLD+++

Retro, quality leather and Jarrah lounge suite.

This is a beautiful, quality leather lounge brought over from WA in the 80's, made by Swan Valley Jarrah. The frame is solid JARRAH timber and very heavy, but looks refined, not not chunky. The leather is in reasonable condition for its age. There are a couple of wear marks in the folds, but nothing too serious. Also the base has a couple of rub marks from the removalists (don't you love them) but again nothing serious. The arm pieces are detachable, and the seats are removable making cleaning easier. The lounge is comfortable, and looks stunning on a polished timber floor, especially in an old Queenslander. The lounge is definitely "lived in", but certainly has plenty of life left. If you are expecting something 'like new' then you will be disappointed, but if you want character and quality, this is worth a look. The wood in this lounge is where the value is.

There are two single seaters and a double. Very reluctant sale.
